Tungsten Carbide Tooling

Established in 1932 as FC Annett and Co., this family business was amongst the first to manufacture Tungsten Carbide in the UK.

Initially specialising in drawing dies for the wire and cable industries, by 1960 the company was producing tube and bar dies and various forms of tooling.

Cemented Carbide Products - a subsidiary company - was formed to produce specialised tooling for the cutting blade, saw, shoe repair and electronics industries in the late 1950's. Together, both companies grew and expanded their product ranges so that by the year 2000 there was little that could not be made in Tungsten Carbide.

In 2001, both companies moved into our new, purpose-built premises thus merging to form a new company titled Annolloy.
