We also refurbish customers' old steel tooling i.e. shear blocks, die bars, clinches, jaws, etc. by tipping the worn surface with tungsten carbide and then optically grinding and re-forming to the original specifications.

Tungsten carbide has a life of three to five times than that normally obtained from steel tooling and is less likely to create problems with pick-up. A further cost effective advantage is that components can be re-tipped several times.
